Teams

On the Teams page you group your employees into working groups — for example "Customer Success" or "Accounting". Each team has a name, a color, and a member list. This lets you see at a glance who works where and maintain memberships with just a few clicks.

What can I do here?

  • See all teams as a card overview (with member count)
  • Filter teams by name search
  • Create new teams (name, description, color)
  • Open a team and add or remove members
  • Delete teams

Step by step

Create a new team

  1. Click "Create team" at the top right.
  2. In the "New Team" window, enter a Name (required), optionally a Description, and pick a Color.
  3. Click "Create". The team appears in the overview immediately.

Add members

  1. In the overview, click the card of the team you want — a side panel with the team details opens.
  2. Next to "Members", click "Add".
  3. Type a name into the "Search employee…" field and click the employee you want. They are added to the team immediately.

Remove a member

  1. Open the team by clicking its card.
  2. In the member list, click the X next to the person. The member is removed from the team immediately (the employee record itself is of course kept).

Frequently asked questions

Can an employee belong to several teams?
Yes. An employee can be assigned to any number of teams — membership in one team does not exclude others.

What happens to the employees when I delete a team?
Nothing. Only the grouping is removed; the employee records remain fully intact.

Is a team the same as a department?
No. The department is part of the employee record and the organizational structure (see Org Chart). Teams are a free, flexible grouping on top — e.g. for projects or cross-departmental groups.

Why can't I find an employee when adding members?
The suggestion list shows matches from the employee search (the first 10 each time) and hides members who are already assigned. Try typing the name more precisely.
