My Area

"My Area" is your personal self-service home page inside the admin interface. At a glance you see the information that matters most to you - from how complete your profile is, to your absence balance, to any open reviews or surveys - and one click takes you to the matching detail page. "My Area" is not the same as the employee portal, the standalone application for staff; see "FAQ" below.

What can I do here?

  • See six tiles with the most important information about you at a glance
  • Jump straight from any tile to the matching detail page (e.g. "Complete profile", "View absences")
  • Notice whether something is still expected from you (e.g. a due self-review or an open survey)

Step by step

  1. Get an overview

    1. Open "My Area" - it's usually the first page you see after signing in to the admin interface.
    2. Check the six tiles: profile completeness, absence balance, latest payslip, open self-review, latest feedback, and open surveys.
  2. Jump to a topic

    1. Click the button inside a tile (e.g. "All payslips" or "Open review").
    2. You land directly on the related page with more detail.

Latest payslip Period of the most recently available payslip If no payslip exists yet, a hint text appears instead
Open self-review Due date of a still-outstanding self-review If there is no open review, a hint text appears instead
Latest feedback Sender of the most recently received feedback May show "Anonymous" if the sender chose not to be named
Open surveys Number of questions in a survey still to answer If more than one survey is open, the additional count is shown as well

Values & status

This page has no status values of its own — it simply summarizes information from other areas (profile, absences, payslips, reviews, feedback, surveys).

FAQ

Why do I see only a hint text instead of data in a tile?
It means nothing is currently available for that area — for example, no payslip has been issued yet, or no review is currently due. Once something is available, it appears here automatically.

How do I complete my profile?
Click "Complete profile" in the corresponding tile — you'll be taken straight to "My Profile" where you can fill in any missing information.

I can't see my vacation entitlement — what should I do?
If no absence entitlement is recorded, contact your HR department so your entitlement can be entered.

A note above the tiles says "Some sections are unavailable" - what does that mean?
A single section of this overview cannot currently be retrieved for your workspace. The note names which one; every other tile still shows correct values. The page stays usable in that case - previously it stayed empty altogether. If the note persists, contact your system administrator.

Does my employee record have to be created before I can use "My Area"?
No. Whoever registers a workspace automatically receives their own employee record, linked to the owner login. "My Area" is therefore usable from the very first sign-in. Only the details from the registration are carried over: first name, last name and email address. The hire date is set to the registration date - if that is not your actual start date, change it under HR → Employees in your employee record. All other fields (address, phone, date of birth, bank details) stay empty until you fill them in yourself. Workspaces set up before this change have the record added automatically as well.

The "Available / Away" switch is missing from my user menu - why?
The switch only appears when your account is linked to an employee record. The owner login comes with one since this change; a plain administration account created later without an employee record has none, and then there is no presence to set. As soon as HR links such an account to an employee record, the switch appears automatically.

Is "My Area" the same as the employee portal?
No, these are two different surfaces. "My Area" is part of this admin interface: you open it with the same login you use for the rest of the administration. The employee portal is a standalone application with its own address, meant for staff without an administration login. It is still in preparation and is not publicly reachable at the moment.
