My Profile (Personnel Data)

This page shows your own personnel data — identity, contact details, employment details, and bank account. Some fields you can change yourself right away; for others (e.g. name or date of birth) you have to submit a change request that your manager reviews.

What can I do here?

  • View your master data in four sections: Identity, Contact Details, Employment, Bank Account
  • Directly edit certain fields yourself (e.g. preferred name, personal email, phone, address, bank details)
  • Request a change for protected fields (first name, last name, date of birth, nationality) that your manager must approve
  • Track the status of your own change requests in the "My requests" section

Step by step

  1. Change directly editable fields

    1. Click "Edit" in the top right.
    2. Update the fields you want in the Identity, Contact Details, and Bank Account sections.
    3. Click "Save" — the change takes effect immediately.
  2. Request a change to a protected field

    1. Click "Request Change" next to a field marked with a lock icon (e.g. "Last Name" or "Date of Birth").
    2. Enter the new value and, optionally, a short reason.
    3. Click "Submit request". The request then appears as "Pending" in the "My requests" section and is sent to your manager for review.
    4. While the request is pending, your profile keeps showing the old value. Only after approval is the new value applied.
  3. Track the status of a request

    1. Scroll down to the "My requests" section.
    2. The status shows "Pending", "Approved", or "Rejected". If rejected, the rejection reason is also shown.

FAQ

Why can't I change my last name directly?
Identity data like first/last name or date of birth is especially sensitive, so it's corrected only through a reviewed change request, not directly.

Who approves my change request?
Usually your direct manager or their designated deputy. In larger organizations this may also be HR.

How long does it take for my request to be processed?
That depends on how quickly the responsible person reviews it. As long as the status is "Pending", the old value still applies.

Can I change my compensation or position here?
No. Those fields are "Managed by HR" — they can neither be edited directly nor requested via a change request. Contact your HR department for those.

The "Compensation" field is empty. Why?
The value shown is the compensation from your active contract. If no contract with an amount has been recorded for you yet, the field stays empty - contact your HR department in that case. As soon as an amount is entered or changed there, you see it here without any further step.

Who besides me can see my compensation?
On this page you only ever see your own data; the page knows no other person. Outside the portal, only people holding the "Manage HR" permission can access compensation data.

What happens if my request is rejected?
The old value stays unchanged, and the "My requests" section shows the rejection reason given by the reviewer.
