This page helps you detect — and optionally automatically block — orders from countries on an embargo list that you maintain yourself. You can also manually check individual country codes and review a log of all past screenings.
What can I do here?
- Turn sanctions screening on or off, and decide whether orders from embargoed countries should be blocked automatically at checkout
- Maintain your own list of embargoed countries (add/remove countries individually, or populate it from presets such as the OFAC, EU or UN list)
- Manually screen a single country code (optionally with an order or customer number) and see the result immediately
- Review the log of all past screenings, filterable by result, country code and date range
Step by step
- Configure sanctions screening: On the "Configuration" tab, set the "Screening Enabled" toggle (enables automatic screening for orders) and "Auto-Block Checkout" (automatically blocks orders from embargoed countries) as needed.
- Maintain embargo countries: Add countries individually via their country code (ISO 3166-1 Alpha-2, e.g. "KP"), or use the "OFAC List", "EU Sanctions" or "UN Sanctions" buttons to pull a predefined country selection into your own list. Changes only take effect once you click "Save".
- Screen manually: On the "Manual Screening" tab, enter a country code, optionally provide an order or customer number, and click "Screen". The result shows whether the country is on your embargo list and whether it appears on one of the known reference lists (OFAC/EU/UN).
- Review the log: On the "Screening Log" tab, review all past screenings (triggered at checkout or manually), filterable by result, country code or date range.

Frequently asked questions
Does this page also screen the names of people or companies against sanctions lists?
No. Screening happens exclusively at the country-code level (country embargo), not at the level of individual person or company names.
What's the difference between "Blocked" and "Review Required"?
"Blocked" means the country is on your own, actively maintained embargo list. "Review Required" means the country appears on one of the known reference lists (OFAC/EU/UN) but has not (yet) been added to your own embargo list.
Are orders automatically rejected once I enable sanctions screening?
Only if "Auto-Block Checkout" is also enabled. If that toggle is off, screening still runs and is logged, but the order is not blocked automatically.
How do I quickly add a whole group of countries to the embargo list?
Use the "OFAC List", "EU Sanctions" or "UN Sanctions" preset buttons to add several countries to your list at once (existing entries are kept).
