Location Groups

Location groups let you combine several locations into a regional or functional group — for example "Western Europe" or "All Fulfillment Centers". This gives you an overview of which locations belong together without having to recreate the locations themselves.

What can I do here?

  • Create new location groups (name, description, region, priority)
  • Edit or delete existing groups
  • Search groups by name, description, or region
  • Filter by status (Active/Inactive)
  • See how many locations are currently assigned to a group

Step by step

  1. Create a new group: Click "New Group", enter a name (required), optionally a description, region, and priority, set "Active", and save with "Create".
  2. Assign locations to a group: Open the desired location under Locations (ERP) and choose the matching group in the "Location Group" field there.
  3. Edit a group: Click a row in the list, adjust the fields, and save.
  4. Delete a group: Click the trash icon and confirm. The associated locations are not deleted — they are only removed from the group.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to the locations if I delete a group?
The locations themselves are kept — only the assignment to this group is removed.

How do I assign a location to a group?
This is done on the Locations (ERP) page in the edit form of the respective location, not here on the groups page.

What is the "Priority" field for?
It controls the sort order of groups in overviews and selection lists — the lower the number, the higher the group appears.
