Policy Generator
The Policy Generator automatically creates the most important legal documents for your online shop — for example your Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy. It uses the information you have already entered in your shop settings (company name, address, contact details) and fills it into ready-made text templates. This saves you from manually drafting these documents.

Step by Step
- Open the Policy Generator under "Advanced" → "Policies". You will see four cards — one per document type (Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Revocation Policy, Imprint).
- Click Preview on a card to read the generated text before applying it.
- If you are satisfied, click Apply on that card — the text is saved immediately as a legal page in your shop. A brief checkmark icon confirms the successful apply.
- To generate and save all four documents at once, click Generate & Apply All in the top right.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the system know my company name and address?
The generator automatically reads this information from your shop settings (company name, address, email, phone). If any of these fields are empty, the generated text will contain placeholder values — always check the preview before applying.
Does the generated text replace a lawyer's review?
No. The generated texts are starter templates. The info box on the page explicitly states that you should have your legal texts reviewed by a qualified attorney before relying on them long-term.
What happens if I apply a document again?
The previously saved version of that document is replaced by the newly generated version.
Can I edit the generated text afterwards?
Not on this page itself — here you can only preview and apply. Editing the saved legal pages happens elsewhere in your shop settings.
