Customize Template
Here you adjust the actual page structure of your active shop template: which sections appear on the home page, category page, product page, and cart, how the header and footer are set up, and finer design values like colors, typography, and spacing. This requires a template to already be activated in the Template store.

Step by step
- Choose a page type: Switch between the Home, Category, Product, and Cart tabs at the top left to edit their respective section layout.
- Edit sections: Click a section in the list to open its settings in the right-hand panel, add new sections, remove ones you don't need, or drag them into a new order.
- Adjust header/footer and design: Use the "Header", "Footer", "Colors", "Typography", and "Spacing" tabs in the right-hand panel for global template adjustments.
- Save or snapshot: Click "Save" to apply all changes. Optionally create a snapshot beforehand via the version history so you can return to this state at any time.

Frequently asked questions
I see "No active template" — what do I do?
You first need to activate a template in the Template store. Only then can you customize anything here.
How do I add a new section to the home page?
Switch to the "Home" tab and add a new section via the section list on the left.
Can I undo changes after saving?
Yes, as long as you created a snapshot beforehand. Use the version history to return to that state.
What's the difference to CMS pages?
CMS pages are individual, freely named pages (e.g. a promo page). Here you customize the fixed standard page types of the active template (Home, Category, Product, Cart).
How do I reset everything back to the template's original state?
Use the "Reset" button in the top right and confirm the safety prompt.
Which language are the sample texts in the preview shown in?
The language you set for your admin. This concerns the placeholder texts a section brings along while you have not entered your own - for example "Your email address" and "Subscribe" in the newsletter block, or the "12 products" count on category tiles. Your own texts are left untouched, whichever language is set. The language of your shop visitors has no effect on the preview, and the preview has none on the shop: both are answered separately.
