Pipeline & Deals
The Pipeline is the central overview of all sales opportunities ("deals") — from first contact through to close. Deals are organized into stages, which you can view as a board (Kanban), a list, or statistics.
What can I do here?
- Create and edit deals, and move them between stages (drag & drop on the board, or via "Move to")
- Switch between multiple pipelines (e.g. new-customer acquisition, upsell, churn prevention, enterprise sales)
- Create your own pipelines with custom stages and reorder those stages
- Mark a deal as won or lost (including a lost reason), or reopen it
- View pipeline metrics such as total value, win rate, and average deal time
- Generate a quote directly from a deal
Step by step
- Create a deal: Click "Create Deal", choose a title, value, contact/company and stage, and save.
- Move a deal: Drag the deal card on the board into the next stage, or open the deal and choose "Move to".
- Close a deal: Open the deal and choose "Mark as Won" or "Mark as Lost" (when lost, you can specify a reason).
- Create your own pipeline: Switch to pipeline management via "Pipelines", click "Create Pipeline", and define the stages you want with name, order, and win probability.

Priority (deal_priority)
Low, Normal, High — helps sales prioritize which deals to work first.
Pipeline stages
Stages themselves are not fixed; they're freely configurable per pipeline (name, order, color, win probability, and whether the stage is a "Won" or "Lost" end stage). Newly set-up environments start with four pre-built example pipelines:
- Sales Conversion (default pipeline for new-customer acquisition)
- Upsell & Cross-Sell (additional sales to existing customers)
- Churn Prevention (retention)
- Enterprise Sales (complex enterprise sales cycles)
The typical stage flow of the default "Sales Conversion" pipeline looks like this:

Frequently asked questions
Why do I see different stages on my board than described here?
Stages are configurable per pipeline. If your organization has created custom pipelines or renamed the default stages, they'll differ from the examples above.
Can I reopen a lost deal?
Yes, "Reopen" on the deal sets the status back to "Open".
What does the probability on a stage mean?
It's a rough estimate of how likely a deal is still to be won while sitting in that stage, and is mainly used for metric calculations (e.g. weighted pipeline value).
How are the pipeline and the company/contact views connected?
Every deal is linked to a contact and/or a company; from there you can see all of that contact's or company's deals directly.
How do I move a deal card on a phone or tablet?
Press and hold the card for a moment until it lifts, then drag it to the target stage. A plain swipe scrolls the board sideways; a short tap opens the deal.
