Contacts
This is where you manage everyone your sales or support team is in touch with — leads, prospects, and existing contacts at your customers. Every contact automatically collects its history: calls, emails, meetings, deals, tickets, and tasks in one place.
What can I do here?
- Create, edit, import (CSV), and export contacts
- Filter by name, email, status, source, score, tags, owner, and other fields
- Open a contact and log activities, create tasks, or start a deal from there
- Apply bulk actions to several selected contacts (change status, assign owner, add/remove tags, delete)
- Manage communication preferences and opt-outs (e.g. "do not call") per contact
- Adjust the SELLERLOGIC direct links (UID/CID) via the gear icon in the toolbar
Step by step
- Create a new contact: Click "Create Contact", fill in at least name and email/phone, and save.
- Edit a contact or log an activity: Open the contact from the list, go to the detail view, and use the quick actions (Log Call, Log Email, Schedule Meeting, Create Deal, Request Review).
- Request a review: In the contact's detail view, click "Request review". SELLERLOGIC Commerce Services asks first and names the email address the request goes to - only your confirmation sends it. The contact then receives a friendly email asking them to leave a review. If several sources have a review link configured, you first pick the platform - or "All platforms" (the default): the email then lists the review links of all linked platforms (e.g. Google and Trustpilot). The email is written in German or English automatically, matching the contact's country. The send shows up in the contact's timeline; if a request already went out within the last 30 days, SELLERLOGIC Commerce Services explicitly asks before sending again. Prerequisites: the contact has an email address and at least one review source has a review link configured (see External reviews).
- Filter contacts: Open the filter dialog, choose e.g. lead status or source, and apply the filter — the URL remembers the selection so you can share the link.
- Import contacts: Click "Import Contacts", paste CSV data with the columns
firstName, lastName, email, phone, company, and start the import. Existing email addresses are flagged as a possible duplicate. - Adjust the SELLERLOGIC direct links: The UID and CID in the contact drawer's "SELLERLOGIC IDs" section are already linked - one click opens the customer's SELLERLOGIC backend in a new tab. The two links lead to different places: the CID opens the customer view (
app.sellerlogic.com/?customerID=…), the UID opens that customer's user list in the SELLERLOGIC admin. Both addresses come pre-configured and stay available even if no template has ever been saved for your tenant. If your backend lives at a different address, click the gear icon in the toolbar and adjust the two templates, keeping the{uid}and{cid}placeholders in place. If you clear a field, the UID or CID stays plain text - it never becomes a link to nowhere.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between lead status and lead score?
Lead status is a manually or rule-set engagement classification ("Engaged", "Blocker" …), while lead score is an automatically calculated point value based on scoring rules.
Why can't I find a contact by search even though I know the exact email address?
Contact data such as email and phone are stored encrypted for privacy reasons. Depending on the environment, fuzzy text search on them can be limited — an exact search works more reliably.
Can I edit several contacts at once?
Yes, selecting multiple contacts in the list gives you bulk actions like changing status, assigning owner, adding/removing tags, or deleting.
What happens to the activities when I delete a contact?
Deleting a contact permanently deletes all linked activities as well.
How the lead score is calculated
Each contact's lead score is an automatic number from 0 to 100 with a grade A–D. It is built from five dimensions: profile completeness (up to 15), engagement (up to 30), deal pipeline (up to 30), company fit (up to 15) and an inactivity penalty (up to −20). The Lead scoring page explains every dimension and its points in detail.
In short: a complete profile, regular recent activities and ongoing deals push the value up; longer inactivity and the status "unqualified" pull it down.
When it updates: the score is recalculated after every synchronisation cycle and can be forced immediately from the Lead scoring page via "Recalculate all". This is why a contact's value can change without you having edited it.
How to improve a contact's lead score
- Create and advance deals — the strongest lever (up to 30 points, a won deal +10).
- Interact regularly, especially logging meetings and calls (up to 30 engagement points).
- Avoid inactivity — the deduction begins after 30 days without activity.
- Complete the profile (e-mail, phone, company, LinkedIn, source, job title).
- Maintain the linked company (size, revenue, industry).
