Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between this page and the default currency under "Settings"?
Under "Settings → General" you set your base currency. On this page you add additional foreign currencies the shop can display prices in alongside the base currency.

What exactly does the exchange rate do?
It defines how an amount in the base currency is converted into this foreign currency, unless a manual foreign-currency price has been set for a specific product.

Can I delete a currency that's already in use?
The system asks for confirmation before deleting. Check beforehand whether any products or orders depend on this currency.
