This page gives you an overview of how well your shop meets legal requirements for various countries and regions (e.g. Germany, EU, USA, United Kingdom). You see a checklist per country, can configure country-specific settings, and manage legal texts (terms & conditions, privacy policy, right of withdrawal, imprint, cookie notice, return policy).
What can I do here?
- Select a country/region and view its compliance checklist
- Activate or deactivate a country profile
- Configure country-specific settings (e.g. cookie mode, withdrawal period, WEEE number)
- Create and edit legal texts per country (terms, privacy, withdrawal, imprint, cookie notice, returns)
- See at a glance how many requirements are met, partially met, or still open
Step by step
- At the top, in the "Country profiles" section, select the desired country (e.g. Germany, Austria, Switzerland, EU, UK, USA and others).
- In the "Checklist" tab, review each requirement along with its related law (e.g. "§312j BGB").
- For configurable items, click "Configure" to jump to the "Configuration" tab and set the corresponding value.
- Switch to the "Templates" tab to create or edit legal texts such as terms & conditions, privacy policy, or withdrawal notice.
- Save your changes with the "Save changes" button in the top right.
Fields explained

Frequently asked questions
Does this page replace legal advice?
No. The checklist and text templates are a working aid, but they don't replace an individual legal review by a lawyer for your specific business model.
What does the percentage next to each country mean?
It shows how many of the requirements relevant to that country are marked "Done", relative to the total number of requirements.
Where do I set whether my cookie banner is opt-in or opt-out?
The general cookie banner behavior is set under "Cookie Settings". This page additionally offers a country-specific cookie mode as part of the compliance configuration.
