Roadmap portal: feature requests
In the roadmap portal your customers submit feature requests, vote on existing ideas and join the discussion. On this page you review submitted requests, link them to cards on your roadmap and moderate the discussions. You reach the page via CRM → Roadmap portal.
What can I do here?
- Review submitted feature requests, filtered by status, visibility or company
- Move a request into review (status "Under review")
- Link a request to exactly one roadmap card via the link wizard (three outcomes to choose from); the request's votes are transferred to the card
- Decline a request with a reason (the thread is closed)
- Moderate discussions (close/reopen thread, hold a request)
- Post official comments as SELLERLOGIC
- Keep the submitter up to date by email automatically, without having to write a message yourself
| Title | Company | Visibility | Votes | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One collective invoice per month | Sample Trading | Public | 41 | iSubmitted |
| Labels in A6 format | Example Shop | Company | 12 | !Under review |

Review and link a request
- Open CRM → Roadmap portal. You'll see the queue of all requests.
- Narrow the list with the Status, Visibility and search filters if needed.
- Click Open on a request. The detail panel shows the text, company, votes and comments.
- Click Start review to set the customer status to "Under review".
- Click Link to open the link wizard.
- Choose the outcome (Already exists / Fits ongoing work / New task) and search for the target card.
- Confirm. The request is accepted, the thread is closed and votes are transferred to the card.
Decline a request
- Open the request and click Decline.
- Enter a reason. It is visible to the customer and also appears in the notification email.
- Confirm. The customer status changes to "Declined" and the thread is closed.
Comment officially
- Open the request and scroll to the Comments section.
- Write your text and click Post as SELLERLOGIC. The comment appears to the customer under the SELLERLOGIC identity, and the submitter is notified about it by email.
- New task
- A new card is created for the request.
- Fits ongoing work
- The request feeds into an ongoing card.
- Already exists
- The request matches an existing card.
/crm/roadmap-portalFields explained
| Field | Meaning | Notes/effect |
|---|---|---|

Values & status
Request status (feature_request_status)
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Submitted | Newly received, not yet reviewed |
| Under review | Currently being assessed |
| Accepted | Linked to a roadmap card, thread closed (no more comments, no more votes) |
| Declined | Declined with a reason, thread closed (no more comments, no more votes) |
Visibility (feature_request_visibility)
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Private | Only the submitter and SELLERLOGIC can see the request |
| Company | The submitter's company and SELLERLOGIC can see the request |
| Public | All signed-in portal customers can see and support the request |
Vote importance (vote_importance)
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Critical | Highest urgency |
| Important | Medium urgency |
| Nice to have | Low urgency |
When several requests are linked to the same card, the highest importance a customer gave applies per customer (no double counting).
Notifications to the submitter
The customer who submitted the request is informed by email automatically. You do not have to do anything extra; the message follows from your normal processing.
| Your action | What the submitter receives |
|---|---|
| Start review | A note that the request is now under review |
| Link (request accepted) | A note that the request was accepted and connected to a roadmap card, pointing to that card |
| Decline | A note about the decline together with your reason |
| Post as SELLERLOGIC | A note that there is an official comment on their request |
- The notification is on by default. The customer switches it off in the portal profile with the Notification about own requests toggle; after that they receive no more emails about their requests.
- Only the submitter is notified, not every supporter of the request. Anyone who wants to stay informed about a roadmap card follows that card in the portal.
- Purely internal changes, such as the outcome you pick when linking, trigger no message.
- The same change is never sent twice, even if you repeat an action. What actually went out is visible under Roadmap portal: notifications.

Frequently asked questions
Do I still have to inform the customer myself after declining?
No. The decline goes out by email with your reason automatically, unless the submitter has switched the notification off.
Why did a customer not receive an email?
Either they switched off Notification about own requests in their portal profile, or the send failed. You can see both in the send log under Roadmap portal: notifications.
Are the supporters of a request notified as well?
No. Messages about a request only go to the submitter. Everyone else stays informed by following the linked roadmap card.
